I am extremely excited about this. I've signed up to the flylady emails and I'm aiming for level two tasks this week because hubby is off work and I can get some moral and physical support. My task for this week over and above the general lists is to get all my washing done, either by washing it here or taking the whole lot to the laundrette. It's actually filling the entire space under my stairs and I'm sure most of it has been there for so long that the kids will have outgrown it by now.
I am a disgrace!
Also, can't remember who was asking about the wii? We have one, it's a great idea in theory but not so much in practice. It's rarely on, and even when it is I get nervous that the kids are going to accidentally break something/some limb. PS3 is getting better reviews and has a better choice in games.0 -

Ooooh a Mother and daughter! (JJ and Ashia!). We have sisters and friends but not, as I recall the cross generation pairing.
Welcome both and please, don't fall out with each other! This is only a forum after all!
Roast dinner done. Washing up done. Emails answered. I'm off to bed to sleep so I can get up early and do the work thing in the morning.
Night night people - sleep wellI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I'm in again, as best as i can manage with the terrible twosome.
I have been uber-busy this weekend. We had a really rough night with DS2 mainly with his teeth. He has the front top two comig through, and somehow has managed to get mouth ulcers on his tongue, both sides, which then meant he couldn't suck from a bottle, and was even finding it hard to eat from a spoon, so a worrying 24hours until it healed a bit as he was starting to get a bit dehydrated from it.
We also had DH's great aunt (80yo) and her friend visit on Saturday. That was really nice. They came with pressies for the boys, and we had a lovely meal together. We did salmon and new pots, with green beans. I tried parsley sauce but it has been a while since i did it, and it didn't taste good - very floury so i assume i didn't heat it long enough. Then, we had a chip butty, some wine, and watched a DVD on the evening, and i got some more of my rug kit done for DS1's room.
Then today, we have done a big sort out of the boys stuff. Net result being DS2 is now in his cot in the nursery :j :j :j .- 9-12 month clothes out of loft
- some 6-9 stuff packed away
- some 12-18mo stuff packed away
- play nest found out of loft for DS2
- toddler chair out of loft, and assembled
- baby bouncer chair stripped and disassembled, and cover washed
- bath seat out of loft
- cot made up
- DH cleaned mould from all the upstairs window sills for me
- stuff in nursery and landing decluttered
- baby present sorted for DH's boss and wife
- visited my parents
- returned my sisters moses basket to her
- travel cot put away
- DH put away some of his clothes that were clean and lying around
- i washed DS1's coat and some other bits - stupid boy fell in the used cat litter tray as he was messing in the kitchen.
- changed DS1's bedding for a single duvet cover - put on the new in the night garden set my sister got him for his birthday
- made some baby purees - 2 different types of chicken ones, and a pear and parsnip one
- made a roast chicken dinner
Bother - DS2 awake again so i'd best deal with him.
hope ds2 is beginning to feel better.
getting all that stuff in and out of the loft is a lot of work - but well done to both of you getting the cot up in the nursery - thats real progress and you got the play nest so hopefully you will manage to get 5 minutes to do little jobs with DS2 in it!
hope you have a good week but dont stress - you always get there in the end!
