  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. Don't forget to buy your poppy. So far today I've done voluntary work, errands and laundry. My aim for the rest of the day is to do more laundry

"dressing cake"... I'm guessing.... wedding gown/wedding cake - dressing gown/dressing cake? Am I close?? :rotfl: :rotfl:

We've caved in properly today. The heating is on set at 18c. ;) Given that we would have usually had the heating on for the last 2 months, set at 19c, I'm really proud of myself.
I had to smack myself upside the head today, when I was walking round, in 3 layers plus my fleece, socks and slippers, saying, goodness it's cold.... Then I thought... you know what....? It's the middle of November, it's bl**dy cold. That's why I've got central heating.... get it on!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Rach it doesn't surprise me. I know that everyone is happier here when Ma and Pa are in control, and the boundaries are firmly established. Once they've got over huffing and puffing and telling us how unfair it all is of course!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
