  • Morning to everyone, I've just finished updating everything so far - all PM's are updated and I hope Ive picked up all the updates that are on the thread. If Ive missed you please let me know.

WELCOME to all the new MFW's - I have added you all and you have a nice shiney number that you can add to your sig - GOOD LUCK for your MF challenge for 2009.

We are doing really well and have paid off over £122k so far since 1st Jan - how amazing is that!!!!!! :j :j :j :j

On a personal note Im looking to move house soon and will have to bite the bullet and up my mortgage - its a difficult choice as it goes against the grain as all I want to do is pay the damn thing off!!! however my DS goes to comp next year so we have to move soon to get into the catchment area for the school I want both DS and DD to go to, Im off to the bank next sat to see how things are looking.

Anyway I wont be leaving it so long before I check back in - Its taken over an hour to update!! which just shows how busy OP'ing we all are

Right am off now - will be back soon

I reckon that £1,000,000 target is more than achievable.

As for your future house move....

Best of luck, I hope MSE helps you in the search for a decent deal on the mortgage, and that the house move doesn't take up too much of your precious time ....

Now its time to declare my Feb OP of £570 - yay me - Im quite chuffed with that although the decrease in interest rates has helped me to find an extra £50 this month - my rate is now only 1.69 % for the next couple of months then it will go up to BOE + 1.25% so 0.5% increase, for the next year

now our MFW challenge for 2009 as a group is over £135k!!!!!! I think that a cool £1 million may be acheiveable - def with you on that SmileyG

  • Overpayment of a massive £7500 this month. Not all our own work though - £5k was an inheritance from my husband's much missed grandad. I'm sure he'd approve and feel we were using his money wisely.
