Boiler Break Down

I Have An Ideal Mexico Super 3 Floor Standing Boiler I Have Found My Self Re-lighting It Up To 6 Times A Day,the Heating Works Fine But The Gas Valve Clicks The Pilot Goes Out And Has To Be Left For A While Before It Lights Again!can Any One Help?

    Firstly i am not a boiler technician but it could be the thermocupling this heats up inside the pilot flame and releases a safety cut out switch thus preventing a build up of gas in the room potential for an explosion. If it does not operate correctly then it will switch the pilot off and cut the gas supply to the burner. If its this its not expensive but has to be fitted by qualified tech.
    Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves
  • thanks, that was my first thought but its been replaced very recently so am pretty sure its not that!
