Bedroom Heater

Hi.

I want to know where to get a good bedroom heater that won't cost a fortune to run. It will be used mostly in the evenings to heat the bedroom before the night.

I don't really want to have to order over internet, I would rather buy from a shop.

Cheers
Dave

It's been said many times, but for a given consumption, no electric heater is any more efficient than any other - 2KW is 2KW, however you slice it.

Probably for bedroom use a radiant heater is inadvisable due to the risk of fire, so your best bet would be a oil-filled radiator or a conventional convector heater.

Don't be fooled into believing that spending more will buy you greater efficiency - it can't and it won't. If you pay more, you may get better cosmetics and features, but it won't cost you a penny less to run.

    Hope that helps.
