oh - on the saucy texting stuff. I looked into it about a year ago. I looked to apply to 1-2-1 which is text based. You have to commit to sending 2000 messages a month, I can't find anything anywhere about how hard or easy that is to achieve. They wanted loads of ID documentation up front which I felt a bit uneasy about and the pay is really poor - much less per message than AQA if I remember (AQA is 30p per answer).

For the 'speaking' ones, I saw a documentary on the sex industry and it is a couple of pence per minute, depending on how long you can keep them on the phone.

That's very nice of your ex BB :) Hope you have a good time with your parents.

Pepe - I've not seen that, could do with a good 'family' film to watch on this wintery afternoon. Trying to find something decent on telly.. and failing.

better than him chucking the food squirrel. We have a bit of a deal, he gives me his unwanted food every now and again (he also offered me some really posh stock but I said no as I think he should use it!) where he has just impulse bought, and I give him the points and money off vouchers for all the Tesco magazines I'm signed up to, I had 2 sheets to give him today - I shop in Asda so never use them.

They should be here any minute now. I'm guessing they would have left around 10 and it takes around 5.5 hours. If they have a couple of short breaks on the way, they won't be far away now.

Gemmzie, I have lots of food allergies, ranging from apples and cherries, which just make my mouth and tongue itch to almonds which send me straight to A & E. Unfortunately, there are very few Allergy Centres in the UK, I'm lucky to live near a good one. This might help you.

Unfortunately, I also have allergy induced asthma, due to finding out about my allergy to dogs and cats AFTER I got my pets :o Lou, with care, you can live with animals despite being allergic. When we first got our dog, I was really ill. I couldnt understand it because I had grown up with dogs, and only been without one for 2 years.

To be honest, I seem to have developed a tolerance to her now, though I am sensible (ish :o ) and keep the house well vacced etc. This helps with my dust mite, dust allergies too.

Sensitive flower arent I  :rotfl:

to be honest spud, he is a nice man, decent and honest. I still feel guilty at splitting, but the last couple of years were very 'destructive' for many reasons.

The problems which split us up were meeting very young (19 and 24) and getting to 30 and35 and being different people. That, in hindsight, now could be worked on. However, there are things that could never be 'right'. His attitude to money is never, EVER, going to be anywhere near mine for lots of reasons. A year ago (as one example), Ihelped him move his 10k of CC debt onto 0% cards and told him that he had 12 months to really work on reducing it. I gave him lots of ideas and pointers. 12 months on, the rates have ended......and he now has 11.5k of CC debt. Only problem is now - not as many 0% deals around and they just aren't accepting him, so he has probably half on 0% and the rest on around 15%. I couldn't go back to being in the financial environment he likes to live in. He isn't flash or anything - he has a 1991 Honda, but he does like to have very nice food in the fridge all the time and when we were together, spending £100 a time a the supermarket was 'normal' (and then returning in the same week to spend £70 or so) and this has reduced a bit, but not changed enough.

His salary is 32k...........and he never has any money for anything unless it goes on the CC. At one point, we were earning over 40k between us in the late 1990s and we STILL didn't have any money.I've now learned a million and one things about money management, all due to MSE, I do wonder if MSE had been around 10 years ago, many of the tears and sleepless nights for me could have been avoided. :(

He also has a mistress..........alcohol.........and she was a hard task master at the time we split.

    Thanks for that Spudlette

Apparantly as I am a red head I am more prone to allergies, according to my MIL, who also thought that my DS had left school to start work at 14 when I told her he was on work experience:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
