They did something similar at my Tesco, I got a free cutter thing to make fancy carrot twirls or cucmber flowers at the end of the demo. Worth about 99p I reckon but better than nothing. We had one of these demos in our store last year, can't quite remember but I think you got the 'free' knife when you purchased the big one! Rip off!
But I have got one of these, brought as a present and it is brilliant! would recommend it.0 -

I've been to one of those demonstrations (was in Debenhams) and we did get a free fancy cutter thingie at the end. Not a proper knife, just a thing for doing fancy veg twirls and stuff.
I've never used mine.

There was one of these demostrations in my local store last year where they were giving away a free gadget (not a knife though). So I went and watched and thought it was interesting, but they refused to give me one as I couldnt prove I was over 21 (was 20). Apparently the free gifts are only for 21 and over, but he couldnt tell me why?Green and White Barmy Army!0

I'm still slightly concerned that they were giving out free knives in the first place!!!
