The sim card should work fine, when i upgraded my phone from a 2g to a 3g phone, I kept the same sim card. had no probs. The only difference between 2 g and 3g, is the you call do video calls, watch TV on your phone etc etc. It's not the sim card that allows you to do these things, but the ability to recieve 3g or not

I think it is the SIM card that controls most of these things, at a basic guess I'd say a 2G sim will work in a 3G phone but a 3G sim won't(probably) work in a 2G phone

Thats my concerns, the contract will be a 3g sim but the 6111 is 2g, i wont use the video calling or the tv but just as a phone and maybe some games.

all depends on Voda policy, 3 do checks and if sim used in 2 G phone send out a 3g sim only, not sure how voda would treat it
