  • Got the mag, from Asda feeling pretty confident that one of our two large Boots stores would have an Elizabeth Arden counter in York. But no, they didn't and the nearest other large Boots is about 30 miles away. We, in York, have Elizabeth Arden in another store but of course that is of no help. Why does the voucher have to be redeemed at Boots? Grrr!

This month’s £2.50 Prima magazine comes with a fab freebie: a voucher for a posh Elizabeth Arden eyeshadow palette, worth £25.

    What you get

You get an Elizabeth Arden Heritage Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quad (link goes to a US website, as we can't find it online in the UK). These were orginally £25, but they're currently in the Boots sale for £10; still not bad for £2.50. It looks pretty decent, and would make a great budget Xmas pressie.

    How to grab one

Simply buy the December issue of Prima and cut out the voucher from the middle insert. If you've an asda nearby, it's worth noting that the magazine is £1.50 there, instead of £2.50.

Take it along to a large Boots where apparently they’ll give you a free skincare consultation before handing over the eyeshadow. Call 0845 0708090 to find your nearest participating store.

    WARNING! Stocks may go quickly.

The offer is valid until 31 December 2008, though stocks are likely to go quickly after this tip’s been in the weekly email. You may want to check that they've got some left before buying the magazine!

PS For men getting this as gifts, luckily not everyone has the consultation experience reported below by the 'dude' in post 11.

Huge thanks to sally06 on the magazine thread & harryharp below for spotting the deal. This separate note was created and inserted so we could give MoneySavers the full lowdown.

  • I've now signed up for the forum, this is a fab. offer. Didn't even need to complete form at Boots for free eye shadow. Loved the magazine too, thinking of buying it regularly.
  • Sounds like a couple of the Boots stores near where I live, I avoid them, they don't like customers!
  • What a great looking product does any1 know what boots in North Down of N.Ireland does the offer ards, bangor? or is it Belfast?..........

The main Boots in Belfast usually does it and I normally try Debenhams at CastleCourt for a spare, good to hear from another NI MSE

Not to be greedy, but the sales assistant gave me my voucher back and i have another boots near me - my mum would like one too!

Anyone know if the voucher will work again??

    Thanks

I can't see why the voucher won't work again, I don't think the codes are individual, might as well try it out but you'll have to be quick.

I had the consultation and also bagged some samples of the 8 hour cream and some moisturiser samples. Apparently they don't get them in very often but have them at the moment because of this promotion. It's worth asking for while you're there.
I got mine at the Warrington Gemini branch

By the way great post, thanks to the OP :T  :j

I got one yesterday but there was only one other left on the stand. Hopefully she has a cupboard full of them.
  • Does anyone know if there's a Elizabeth Arden stockist in Devon?? The chap on the Boots number thinks Bristol is the nearest and Leamington Spa after that!!! And they're MILES away. I've bought the magazine just to get eyeshadows and thinks I may have wasted my money :(
  • Hi all depends where in devon you are - they have an EA counter in Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton. If you look on the boots site you can type in your town or a postcode and find the closest one - follow this link-
