Hello
I have got the voucher from prima for the estee lauder eye shadow but I went to my nearest boots and was told i had to have a skin consultation in order to get the free gift
Has anyone managed to get the free gift without the skin consultation? Either by asking not to have it or just taking it to a normal till?
I really dont want one as they try to sell you other stuff as well and the free gift is too good to miss out on so not sure what to do!
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks :rotfl:0 -
I had the skin consultation and they didn't do a hard sell. They recommended some products but I didn't feel pressurised to buy.0

Blackpool still have them - I'm going to pick mine up tomorrow after ringing them today.0

I didn't have to have the consultation.
Woman who sits next to me at work did but she said it was all over in 10 minutes as she never wears make-up anyway and the EA woman just showed her a few products and explained what they do. She didn't buy any and there was no pressure to do so.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. I went into Boots in Maidstone on Sunday, and there was a pile of the red boxes, with an open one for display next to them, but no sign of the Elizabeth Arden lady. I was told she doesn't come in on Sundays, so I would have to come back another day as "you HAVE to have a consultation".0

I went to Boots, Sauchihall Street, Glasgow yesterday and the rep refused to give me the compact without booking in for a consultation (not even one on the spot). She said it was free with the consultation. I said that the voucher didn't say that. She said that was what it meant. I said I wasn't in Glasgow that often and wouldn't be back up soon. She still refused. I'm really quite annoyed, and thinking of writing to Boots/EA. It really doesn't say you have to have the consultation on the voucher or anywhere on the mag page.0
