Bulldog Broadband Scam Warning

Hi
Got a phone call from a person tonight claiming to be from Bulldog saying that my account was in arrears and I needed to set up a new direct debit.
He knew my customer ref number and it sounded like a call center with lots of noise in the background. I did not give him any details and told him I would ring him back on the customer support number.
When I rang Bulldog they said it was a scam and there was nothing wrong with my account.
This gang might be trying it on with different ISP's, so be careful people.
