have you made a decision about your future - job wise? Or have I missed what you are going to do? It was something like Professor of Wobbly Bridges or something??

I think I've made my decision. I'm going to stay where I am. The people who offered me the job were taking too long to sort it out (they're not the most organised of people and they have been extremely busy). They were also extremely difficult to get in contact with. I'm not sure I could work in those conditions, even if the money was slightly better than I'm on now.

On the plus side I'm nicely busy here at work (hence the overtime on most weekends) and the forward workload is looking healthy. It looks like I can carry on with the overtime for a good while yet!

I know what you mean about ditherers. The first email from them was in July and I still haven't had a proper offer! I gave them a deadline of a few weeks ago and nothing much happened since then. I'm a bit peeved about it but my current job is a good one and I like the company and people I work with.

Gemmzie, did you ring? What did they say hun?

Take some Dilarite (sp?) and rest lots. Managed half a glass of it and some apple juice now so just trying to drink enough so I can stand up without getting dizzy.

    Thanks for your advice :)
