Do I get to start the chat? Do I? Do I? :j
I've already been awake an hour...........after 'what time is it?' 'I don't know' 'Can't you put your glasses on and see?'........'I was ASLEEP'...........
Now knackered but couldn't get back to sleep with much clattering and back door opening and closing for repeated little white cancer stick related activity.
I have loads to do today though. Mum and Dad are coming down tomorrow for a couple of days so today is housework day. Whilst the house is very tidy and everything in its place, there is mucho dusting and grande hoovering to take place throughout the whole house. I was a minger and didn't do it before we went on holiday so now it has to be done today
I'm even having a drink of tea to try to wake me up so I must be tired - I never have hot drinks unless I'm dragging my knuckles with tiredness!!!
However...........this has just made me :rotfl:

Morning alll,
To all those in debt who dont open there letters and can not face to anwsner the phone.......
Take a deep breth get the staments open them up and work out how much you owe then work out how much you have coming in and how much you can aford to pay back each month/week.
How you thourt about a DMP this maybe for you?
But remember it dose not matter how little or how much you start to pay off your debts the inportan thing is that you start!!!!
Rember that every little payment is one payment to being rid of the debt....
With every payment come a little bit more releafe and a little bit more happyeness.
Remember oneday the debt will be gone....Oneday this will all end....
You will be happy and you will smile again
The strees will all be gone
YOU JUST NEED TO MAKE A START.......YOU JUST NEED TO TAKE CONTROL
Good luck all...:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
lol that made me laugh!
Im really on fire with the debt repayments and saving at the moment which is great because I do have massive lapses of interest in it all.
Happy because i have sold a book on amazon today:D This money will be heading for my ISA when the payment has cleared:)
Just read one of the threads on this board and someone mentioned a square chart (i think this was hypno's original idea) which you colour in as you money off a debt.... I already do this and it really works! I have a few of them on my wall by my desk but i usually use them for savings for specific things although i have one for my creditcard too. I just love colouring in those squares:D
Not much going on here today, probably housework and washing mainly! I do have to crack on with my shopping list for this months food shop. Nothing planned for tonight though. Next weekend I am out for a curry with friends. Have allocated £30 for this which includes a tenner for a sitter. Really looking forward to it!
Have a great DFW day all:)November NSD's - 70 -
I'm liking the idea of the colouring in chart Jamie - in fact I reckon I should do one for everyone as a bartering tool for them to do my housework in return? I'd make them personalised and everything!!!
Oh, ok, I guess I'll have to do my own housework, although I'd much rather be sat playing with card and glitter
sigh............right.......a list........must do today:
[strike]Make list [/strike](ta Snaggles)
[strike]Dust and hoover living room [/strike]
[strike]Do the washing and get it dry/put away[/strike]
[strike]shake rugs, dust and hoover hall[/strike]
[strike]Dust and hoover my bedroom[/strike]
[strike]Clean toilet[/strike]
[strike]Have chocolate[/strike]
[strike]Clean bathroom (one of my most hated jobs)[/strike]
[strike]Washing up[/strike]
[strike]Clean work surfaces and cooker top[/strike]
[strike]Have chocolate[/strike]
[strike]Sweep and mop kitchen floor[/strike]
[strike]Have chocolate[/strike] :j
then tomorrow before they get here:
Iron the clothes on the back of the bedroom door
Change bedding
Wrap Christmas presents I have already for them to take back with them
Dust and hoover spare room after sofa bed is pulled out
plus normal washing up, day to day stuff.
And - oh, yes, have chocolate :rotfl:
I do like a good list........I could sit and stare at it for hours..........:rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

You should take a leaf out of Hypno's book BB and start your list with 'make list', then you can tick one thing off straight away. If you include 'eat chocolate' on the list too, you can look really productive when you cross that one off too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

ooooooooooh, good plan Snaggles, I shall edit accordingly
Have to say the first chart I thought of doing would have been yours - it was going to be orange and blue in a Jaffa Cake style with Jaffa related adornments, but as you're now debt free, you wouldn't need one!"Stay Wonky":D

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..........gets the glitter and the scissors out and makes mental note to buy many boxes of Jaffa Cakes to 'recycle' the packaging to make Snaggles a chart! (after 'recycling' the contents into my mouth - obviously)!
(and obviously I don't mean 'yayyy, Snaggles is in debt':o )
I wonder if it's too early to think about crossing off the first 'eat chocolate' on my list.........
God, I must be tired. I've made a second cup of tea.
I have though got as far as getting the duster, feather duster and polish out of the cupboard.......it's a start."Stay Wonky":D

Lol, I know you didn't mean that, nutter. :rotfl:
I'm not sure how long I will be in debt for - it all depends on how my finances look once I get the tax credits notification, because if my budget looks okay, I can keep my sharesave thingies going, and the next one matures in August, but the house needs serious work (I somehow have to 'find' a third bedroom because I can't afford to buy anything bigger without moving to an area I would be scared to live in, being a single woman with 2 kids).
If the budgets just aren't workable, I might need to cancel them now, which would actually mean I could pay off the car straight away, but long term would be a bit scary as I wouldn't have them to fall back on."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
