YBS Interest rates

the November Rollover rates are all 5% - I suspect the current ebond at 6.5% is not going to be open much longer

The 6.5% e-bond is already closed to new applicants.

Just logged in and it looks like you can still top up your e-bond despite being closed to new applicants.

I believe you will be fine, if they allow you to open the account I am sure they will allow a reasonable time frame for you to fund an initial payment at least.
I am still transfering money from my current account into the Ebond. My second chunk showing it went into the account today and my third chunk hopefully tomorrow.
If anyone is still wanting to fund this Ebond I would do it ASAP.

Any ideas how long it takes them to cash the cheque and for the balance to appear in the account online?

I can not speak for cheques but its 2 days for bank transfers to show and same day for Debit card transfers to show on my account. I did find there was a daily transfer limit imposed by my bank. I believe cheques do not have the same limitations.

just received this email from ybs.

We're delighted you were able to take advantage of our recent e-Bond offer and invest at the very attractive rate of 6.50% gross pa/AER*. As expected, this offer proved very popular and became fully subscribed on Friday 31st October at which time it was withdrawn from sale.

This means that you are no longer able to make any further deposits to your account and any payments received after the offer was withdrawn will be returned to you.

I've just received that too Speculator.

They don't appear to have cashed my cheque yet from last week, but the balance is now showing in my online YBS account.
