Primula Deli Soft Cheese - so excited was I that my local (carp) Tesco actually stocked this product that I bought it without reading the back of the pack. The receipt has to be dated between 1/05/09 and 30/09/09 so I'm too early!!! Don't get caught out, hang on till Friday!

Do you think I should send it off anyway or buy another within the dates? (it says one application per household, worried that my application would be deemed invalid and they wouldn't let me apply again as i'd already tried and failed)

    Thanks for any thoughts.

I got this email back from them this morning:

"With reference to your email below, our marketing department have said that our Primula Deli Soft Cheese, with the Try Me Free flash on the pack made it into stores a little earlier than forecast and that the handling house will accept your application.

I hope this answers your query."

Found another 'money back guarantee'. Buster drain cleaner &bathroom cleaner. They have an orange label round the next stating it is a money back guarantee. Didn't have time to read the t&c's really but you do need to give them a telephone number and it stated they MAY ring you to check why you are disatisfied with the product. The MBG was on both the bathroom version and the drain cleaner.

    Here's a piccy:

Thank you, and the piccies are always very helpful, especially when, like this one, it is an unfamiliar brand. Thanks.

I emailed Fairy Liquid, because my washing up liquid did not last anywhere near 8 weeks as the adverts state, and now they are going to send me some coupons to compensate. ;)
    I'm loving freebies!!

It's a women's razor - you get a handle, five blades and a "showerpod" which is basically a holder for it that you stick to your shower wall for five pounds odd.

The offer is your money back if you don't love it after 14 days. You do have to send the handle back (not the blades) so you would end up with some presumably useless blades unless you already have a the handle from buying it previously. Alternatively, the offer closes 1/06/10 so you could keep it for the year and send off for the offer then.

I spotted it in Boots - there's a bright pink promotional sleeve (which slides off) which is the part you need for the application form.

Might be of use to someone.
A slight correction: there is only one blade in the pack (the confusion comes from the fact that each blade has 5 blades in it IYSWIM - I know what I'm trying to say!).

Not sure whether to go for this now. I actually have the razor anyway so could do with some blades, just not sure if it's worth the hassle for just one blade. (Blades are very expensive though!)

Also, got some Bacofoil, and then noticed that the price I paid was a lot more than the price they said they'd reimburse  (well, not a lot, but it's the principle ). So I emailed them and they replied saying, basically, tough, there's nothing they can do, retailers can charge what they like. Well I know that, but it would've been nice to send me some coupons as a good will gesture or something!

Thanks for that Dormouse, didn't realise that's what they meant by five blades.

I did this with Highland Water a few years back. I stated that I knew they couldn't control the price supermarket charged but I was letting them know anyway. I received a big box of bottled water in return.
