Fan assisted storage heaters?
Comments
-
Storage heaters absorb heat at off peak hours and emit the heat during the day. Fan assisted storage heaters use a fan during the day to distribute the heat more efficiently, however it is environmentally worse because a fan consumes more electricity than a convector heater.

Thank you for all the comments. We have storage heaters because there is no gas and this is the coldest house I have ever lived in. I was thinking of upgrading to fan assisted but I think the money will be better invested in a wood burner.0
