Its not that I dislike football per-se, more so that I find top-flight footballers salaries and income from sponsorship deals sickeningly disproportionate.

The reason I mention it as when I was making my point about JR, the thrust of my point is that we shouldn't begrudge anyone their fortune, but I then contradict myself to a degree in that I feel the exception to this view is top flight footballers to whom 6 million a year is a spit in the ocean.

I understand that people feel particularly upset about JRs salary as it comes out of their license fee, but if that % didn't go to Ross, your license fee would still be the same and I doubt the BBCs output would be dramatically improved by the 'saving'

I work out 6 m a year is about 115 k a week there arnt many footy players on that.

I'd be very happy to get that a year never mind every week.

I like Ross he's funny but he aint THAT funny!

they'll never replace the album
