    Hardware, Option (0)
    CLICK the hardware option

  • Or you can do this, using the belarc.com program find out what motherboard you have got, go to the motherboard's manufacturer's website and find your model of motherboard it will have a link to the drivers or just post the motherboard model and I'm sure somebody here will post the link to the drivers.

Or you can do the easy option, the computer guy who fix it get him to sort it out!!

There is a known problem with the AC97 Audio driver, Microsoft has an update for this, search the Microsoft Knowledge Base with for AC97 Audio problem.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    Hi,
I bought it off a guy who had built it up with all new parts.
The sound problem only happened after doing a reformat+reloading windows xp64.
I did get a disc with programs on it,but have tried+tried loading+reloading them but nothing seems to work :(
