I've just bought the 200040 model for a similar amount of money. Is there really all that much difference?0
-
I contacted them to see what the differences were -
new "sleeker" design
15 bar pressure (as opposed to 14 bar)
Easier to clean (something to do with something you previously had to rinse out??! sorry - can't remember exactly what she said!)
You still get the welcome box as you do with the older version but this is now inside the main box (as opposed to it coming in a separate box).
That is all I believe!
Its the same coffee so it will taste the same!
Mine is a christmas present (to me!!!), so I can't open it yet. Im itching to!!
Apparantly the £20 and £10 offers are promotional offers that are at food exhibitions (so if you know anyone going to the BBC good food show, get them to pick one up for you!)

Ive been after a Coffee Machine for ages, but i've been trying to find the right one. £66 is a great price!
Anyone with experience of these,
Are they easy to clean?
And would they be difficult to place in a small kitchen? (I have the measurements but i always think experience is better
). 0 -
there very easy to clean, as they use 'pods' so the coffee doesnt actually go thru the machine.
ive had mine for a year now & love it, the pods are quiet expensive (about £3.30 for 8 coffees or 16 if you like expresso's or lungo .. basically the ones that dont come with milk)
the machines are pretty compact, mine sits nicely next to my kettle & doesnt take up much surface space0 -
I bought one a year to replace my senseo coffee machine, to be honest i feel they are a bit of a rip off esp the one with the milk £3.29 for 8 coffees and 8 pods of dry powdered milk. The lungo coffee are £3.29 for 16 which compared to my old senseo which are 18 for £1.89. If your looking for a machine that just plain coffee get the senseo if you want different coffees like cappacianos go for the dolce gusto.0

I love my Dolce Gusto! I'm a 'bzzagent' and was lucky to receive one free earlier this year to use and 'bzz' about to friends. I think mine must be the older version though. They are extremely easy to clean and don't take up much space at all. Yes, the pods are a tad expensive but they are worth it!
Also, as mentioned, the ASDA mag has a coupon for a free box (if you can find the mag and any popular boxes on the shelves!).
And don't forget to join www.dolce-gusto.co.uk
Each pod box has a code inside worth 11 points which you can collect for additional crockery and pods, etc. I also received bonus points just for registering (there is a code in the welcome pack in the machine box). They have also in the past posted me a sample box of various pods to 'try before you buy' as it were.

I have signed up with dolce gusto but i can't seem to find my code in the welcome pack. Please could anybody let me know where i should be looking?
Really want to get the 200 points.
Thanks Jen0 -
whats the quality of espresso like with this machine? Is it gaggia comparable or just a glorified instant coffee quality machine?Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

My machine is coming on wednesday i'm so excited, lol.
Asda are also selling them but its the old one and £89.99.
I supose they have got to make a bit of money back on all those free pods people are getting.
I am glad other people have got one of these too.
I am saving up my points on the dolce gusto website to get the iced coffees i can't wait till summer to get them in the shops.Smart price rocks!0
