Hello all,

I was wondering if you could help me and my OH, back in Aug 06' we bought a house and took a life insurance policy out for OH. It is with L&G and he pays £52 a month , hes 28yrs old and a smoker(hopefully not for much longer) He has had no previous medical conditions. It currenty covers out Mortgage £124k and an extra £20k....I think:confused:

Is this a reasonable? Or is there cheaper out there.

Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

No way to tell as it depends on how the insurer rated the medical conditions.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.
  • Also depends on whether critical illness was included or not.
I agree with Wutang - you need to get on the record advice from a professional rather than off a web forum.
  • Plus its not always best to go for the cheapest, it may never pay out! Speak to an IFA who will advise on a number of crucial elements.
