Hi
Just gone over to f2surf. They sent me an email, with username, password and Primary dns server, and secondary.
Couldn't connect, so I had a look on their website on a friends comp. Anyway I came across a dial up connection tel no and put that it and presto I can now connect.
My question is, is this right, am I suppose to connect this way with a tel no?
I'm on 2mb broadband and I have a speedtouch modem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The dial up number is a backup to use if the broadband goes down. I'm guessing you are dialling that through your old fashoned dial up modem, rather than your adsl modem? Is it really slow like dial up?
How come you couldn't connect? What error messages were you getting?0 -
I seem to recall you put 0,38 in the phone number box,and it should connect.

Hi
I'm connecting through my touchspeed modem, I don't have another one. And the speed is excellent, getting my 2mbs. I just know I shouldn't be connecting like this, with a telephone number. And I'm just trying to sort it out.
Thanks for the replies.

My dial up number with them is 00000
It shouldn't matter what you put in there0
