Viable Option for Home Worker

Hi All,
I work from home a lot of the time and primarily in 1 room in the house all day. Is an electric heater a viable option for me of saving cost above & beyond keeping my gas heating on all day which warms all rooms within the house.
Ive seen the following heater :

And thought this may be a viable option for me to consider
