Oh, and if you have young children, I thought they had to get Transco out and give you some emergency credit? Ring up your company and explain you have young children and it is cold, and you are requesting some emergency credit. If they can't give you that due to the problem, they may attend to the meter anyway.
And threaten ringing up Ofgem to complain.
Call help is a meter fault not an issue with credit , and as transco have not existed for around 7 yrs you may have difficulty getting them out.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -
Hi similar problem only I had been without gas 7week's and 3weeks previously and then a week prior to that, I work shift work so will give the benefit of the doubt I hadn't been able to keep great contact but after 12 meter cards none worked you would think they would get the message, anyway I have now had a bill through for £35. Which I can only assume is the credit they put on when visiting or a charge for it to be fixed as since we moved in 4 months ago we have only had gas for 3 weeks, who do I complain to and should I have to pay it???0

Raise a complaint to your supplier and then you can refer it to the ombudsman after 8 weeks.
You at least need an explanation.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
