I had to phone as the order went through to confirmation but i didnt receive an email confirmation...waited 2 hours so rang them......had no choice

so what youre saying is i wait so everyone else orders their stuff....hmm....that makes sense....

nope...i wanted to make sure my order went through thanks....but they couldnt tell...anyway my order confirmation came through an hour later.

Melody you're a star . Would of reported back sooner but empire site is sooo slow,,, wonder why! If I get order then fantastic, If i dont then no loss. A lot of stuff I had tried ordering online earlier was coming up as in stock online, but when I placed order on phone (no discount! ) was outa stock. So good luck everyone. Makes a change getting stuff from somewhere that dont give you free little blue pens.......

Umm im not seeing any items on sale on this site... am I doing something wrong? Its all rather weird, TVs, cameras, camcorders are all full price?

Anyone have a list of item codes for the good items so i could search directly to them?

One thing I noticed when I was doing my order this morning - the email address is not a mandatory field. I almost missed it because I (like most, I'm sure) automatically ignore fields that don't have the little star.

This may be why some aren't getting confirmation emails!

I have placed an order but didn't get a customer order number despite filling in all the forms and giving my credit card details. I did get a last screen saying my order would be despatched.

should I expect an email confirmation ?
can I track my order ?

I read this thread this morning but didn't really see anything I needed. 2 Hours ago my Car CD/Radio went t*ts up!!!!! Just managed to get on the Empire site which is really slow but managed to order the Sony CD?Radio at £60 (using the 30% off code). Cheapest I could see this elsewhere on the web is £189-99 so THANKS ALOT goes to rasanmoney who should be nominated for post of the month ;D
