ok let's try a different scanner,
Please go to Eset Onlinescan (NOD32)
(You need to use InternetExplorer or enable IEView in Firefox)- You will then see the Terms of Use, tick the check-box infront of YES, I accept the Terms of Use
- Now click Start
- Should you face a Security Warning that asks if you want to install and run a file called "OnlineScanner.cab", click Yes
- Click Start (the Onlinescanner will now prepare itself for running on your pc)
- To do a full-scan, tick: "Scan potentially unwanted applications"
- Press Scan
The Onlinescan will now start and scan your pc (please let it run to completion) - When the scan has finished, it will show a screen with two tabs "overview" and "details" and the option to get information or buy software, just close the window
- Click Start >> Run... >> type: C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
The Scan results will now open in Notepad - Click into the text area, right-click and chose "select all"
- Right-click again and chose "copy"
- Close Notepad
Include this log in your reply by right-clicking and "paste" in the text area of the reply post you just created.0 -

If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it :rotfl:0 -
Hehe.
Probably be a little while before Panda shows himself (definitely a 'him') again.

It might be a good idea to install (and keep updated) Spybot and SpywareBlaster:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
Both programs can help prevent malware from getting onto your PC, and Spybot can also scan for and remove malware.0 -
Just a thought, what anti-virus, firewall & anti-spyware do you have installed?.
Also, who provides your broadband ?.
I had a PC in that wouldn't update anything. I found a pair of scripts from M$ that reclaimed the ownership of all the files in the registry. Problem solved, updates installed.
The files are 'subinad.msi' & a script that you cut and paste into notepad & save as 'reset.cmd'
Hope this helps.Never Knowingly Understood.

looks like someones been downloading some infected files to say the least
A little off topic but heres a little tip for PC users. You can download an burn Linux onto a CD which will allow you to run the OS from the CD without altering any of your harddrive files and then recover your files onto a USB memory key of networked drive. You need to be able to boot from the CD, nearly all BIOSes in modern PCs will allow this.
I always had a Knoppix boot CD in my laptop bag for years, ubuntu is one of the more recent popular ones, have a look at www.knoppix.org or www.ubuntu.com for example. Its a great get out of jail free card to play and as long as you dont have a fault on the hard drive you will be eternally thankful for this :-)0 -
