Fatwallet is very similar if you venture into their forum area - a bit like MSE loads of people don't even realize they are there.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Try https://www.nerdwallet.com for some good deals, not quite the in-depth analysis though!0

I think the issue is complicated by differences in the various States.
For instance few States have a choice of gas/electricity and each has a different Tax. Their tariff charges change monthly with their costs for gas/electricity passed directly to the customer.
Apart from mega-stores - Walmart etc. Supermarkets tend to be regional. Even with Walmart prices/promotions will be different in, say Florida to California; even discounting the differences in State sales tax(where applicable)0 -
Taxes and other laws vary between states, and some chains (supermarkets, banks, gas stations, restaurants, motels, etc) only operate in part of the country. So it might be an idea to try searching for a web site that's specific to the appropriate region, state or city."Such an enormous country, you realize when you cross it" - Jack Kerouac0

Bearing in mind Martin made a fortune when he sold MSE -maybe you should start one.......and make millions too
The reality is as explained above- most moneysaving is far more regional than the UK so there isn't one universal site .I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

The USA is crying out for a site like this... it really is unfortunate. Having lived here for almost 5 years now, there really isn't anything that compares aside from coupon, cashback, weak consumer review/reporting type sites.
I'm sure that due to the power of Corporations in America, it would not be easy to be a consumer champion.0 -

So what's preventing you from starting one yourself? Martin did it, and look what it got him!
