Adding Pics On This Site?

Hi, in one of my posts I tried to add a picture, I clicked on the appropriate icon (the wee one that looks like a postcard ) and followed the prompt, the pic was hosted on my Photobucket account, so I picked up the url and thought that would be it, but the thing didn`t work at all and only showed up one of those wee boxes with a little red x in it.
Can anyone tell me what I`m doing wrong please?:)

Make sure that the link to the image you are copy/pasting is a direct one to the image file.

e.g. http://xxx.photobucket.com/user/album/yourpicture.jpg

Alternatively you should be able to get photobucket to give you the correct forum code to paste directly into the forum posting box.

In photobucket go to: Account Options

Under Album Settings go to Link code options

Select the tick boxes for IMG for bulletin boards & forums and save.

Under each picture in your albums you should then have a box that gives you the code to directly put in your posts here.

Nope. I don`t know what I`m doing wrong, I`ve added pics to websites afore and know how to pick up the url from Photobucket but it just isn`t working for me here.

You are pasting in too much code in your try above.

If you use the button, then only paste the direct url into the pop up box.

Like: http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/oresai/th_whattheshouldermusclesshouldbedoing.jpg

Or directly copy the image code from photbucket into a post here without using the button. In which case you would paste this into your post here:

Thanks, fermi, what I was doing was simply clicking on the IMG url and it seemed to automatically copy the info, then pasting it into the box that popped up when I clicked on the glyph.
