Last one I bought was a Dell P4 with 512mb Ram for about £310 incl VAT and it's great. Don't fall for the marketing of these firms, you don't need to buy a fast sports car if you never drive outside of London...........
you are right about the usage!
about mesh i have had their pc nearly four years a few months back one of the fans needed changing and it was done within a week (3 years on site warranty)
i have had no problem whatsoever

a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
Sorry I disagree - this is a goodish spec at a reasonable price, but I think Dell have better offers even when they aren't price mistakes. So perhaps we can agree that it's the best around at this moment?
If you just want a home PC for Internet, Email and Office type work you can usually get a machine from Dell for about £350 or less. At the minute you can get a 3GB P4 with a 17" TFT for less than £387.
If you want a machine for gaming then this machine isn't powerful enough - you'd need to rip out the graphics card and put your own in. And gamers will probably need at least 1GB memory for any serious online games (my system uses at least 700MB when I'm playing Counter-Strike Source online). You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0
