which was on a 5 day delay..... but it's been 4 weeks :eek: i wonder if this will come before the winter is over ????

Seriously I am, let's have a race to see who gets it first I ordered mine on 23rd Dec I think. Got another one of my items this morning but still loads to come yet.

I rang customer services.. yet again they apologised again But they still dont appear to have this coat in stock in they're warehouse... asked me to call back in a few days time!!!

Same here - still waiting on quite a lot - I've been keeping track of what's arrived so that I can check my invoice but I'm not 100% sure of what I ordered as it was a phone order and I've was ordering multiple sizes etc. There was a problem though - when I got my latest invoice there were 10 items that I had ordered listed as returned yet I had never received them. I phoned up CS to enquire about it (I've had a few probs with Next recently) and was told that there had probably been an error and the items were dispatched to the wrong place and then returned - none of the items were available anymore so I was rather disappointed. However - they phoned me back and said that the pre sale value of the items ordered and returned without me receiving them was £190 and that there was 50% off most of them so I could order goods to the same value from the new catalogue and they would give me 50% off - I was thrilled - that's my daughter kitted out for summer!

I rang Next this morning to chase five items I've still not received, ordered on the 22nd December. As always the customer services rep was really friendly and helpful.

It might be just me but I think every time I speak to anyone at Next Directory they are really nice, professional and even when things are going wrong they truly offer customer service. I've often had the experience of ringing Next with a small order (usually something one of my kids needs urgently) to be told that the order's so small they're not going to charge me any delivery. Catch m and s or debenhams staff doing that! Even the next couriers are better than anyone else's. Anyway I digress.

The representative checked my items. Some were on a 1-2 week delay (still) and some on a temporary delay. The rep explained to me that those on temporary delay had been received in the warehouse, were being quality checked and then would be picked. She also said they were holding on to some stock that was in to send out bigger parcels as they had made so many deliveries. So it might be worth checking the phrasing of your delayed items - if the delay is "temporary" you'll probably get them!

One of my items had been confirmed on a delivery note but then I'd got a slip in the parcel to say it was temporarily out of stock. I've been charged for it on my statement and the rep initailly said I must already have it. When she rung the warehouse they confirmed I hadn't had the item but said it would be coming out to me in my next parcel. So if like me you ordered a lot keep an eye on what you get as against your statement.

The rep said all the call centre staff have been given a script to confirm that people will eventually get their sale stock.

Final comment - my sister and I ordered the same coat, same size, (we do that a lot, it's weird) mine to Huddersfield, hers to South London. I got mine a week ago, she's still waiting, so perhaps it depends where you live.

Glad it's not just me then, our delivery woman is here evry day with usually 1 parcel! :mad: Mind you they do get paid per parcel, so I'm sure she is not complaining! I am still waiting on stuff that I ordered on the 23rd that said 5 days, they annoying thing is I have 2 girls and ordered matching stuff so I have been waiting on stuff one has got but not the other, wondering wether to keep them or not :rolleyes: oh well, I'm sure stuff will come by summer lol! :rotfl:

I received a sale skirt yesterday - still waiting for a jumper.

A couple of years ago I ordered hubby a suit in the sale. By Feb it hadn't been received so I e-mailed asking where it was. They replied saying it was no longer available but we could choose a suit from the new Directory for the price of the sale suit. Great result!

I wonder if anyone has any codes for free delivery that work with the Sale items. I have seen a few from another site but none seems to work and I assume that they must only apply to new catalogue orders.

Also last year someone posted a code that gave an extra 25% off sale prices - I have not seen anything like this this year though.
