    Is this an entrance exam?
    aka Calculator

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. Now she's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell she is.

I probably don't need the date of the 1st payment + the date of settling --but it would be complete for illustration purposes.

Did you askfor/receive 8% Simple, 8% Compound or Contractual Interest

Dreamer, I just want to see as there have been others in the past telling us this and that and then we get our hopes up that we are getting this amount back. I was told be tiggrae about mine and they were 3K less and that was heart breaking at the time. I really had thought I was getting it but then I saw that she knew how to work the actual PPI out but did not ever take into account when loans were settled that the settlement rebate included a rebate for the interest on both the loan and the PPI. I get it now and argued so many times with my adjudicator and finally he got me to see the light....;)

I am not knocking turboman but want to see how good he is. If I help someone out now I always say "I am no expert" as I am not but the ones that do spout what they have got and done etc.... like tiggrae was a claims management company - I like to learn from... althought tiggrae was wrong on all of mine...

Forget the 8% interest if you can... I received it simple interest...;)

I am so dying for this Turboman.... if you get this right then I want your help...if you can....but its about just unfair rebates...

Ahhh---A Stoke supporter - I must have spent over 50 over 50 unproductive posts elsewhere trying to convince a Stoke supporter that it is completely illogical to use Contract Figures if the interest rate is variable!--The initial contract figures are merely a snapshot in time in Variable Rate Loans.
