I just check with the info commissioners office and they said the bank is partly right beause it falls under the Credit consumer act. they can't make the bank produce any copy under the data protection act. The request should be under the credit consumer act.
I rang the the office of the fair trading just now and they said if I want copies of documentation requested use the credit consumer act. they are going to ring me and give the specific paragraph to use for the request because CCA is as thick as a telephone directory.
Hi Malenurse
Please let us know the outcome as that would be very interesting thank you.:T:mad:0 -
Pinknico I love your signature.:D:mad:0

 The time limits, which are laid down in the Consumer Credit (Prescribed Periods for Giving Information) Regulations 1983 are clear. You must supply an executed credit agreement within 12 working days of a proper CCA request. If you fail to comply with a legitimate request the account enters a default situation and if you fail to comply after a further 30 days you commit an offence. You entered into a default on **12 Days DATE** and subsequently committed a criminal offence on **MONTH DATE**.
Did not know it became a criminal offence if they do not provide one but when an account has nothing owing remember this does not apply...0 -

Hi Marshallka
Thanks knew you would know but was not up to scratch so that was why I said to ring cause did not know when you would be on here. Sorry you have had so much rubbish chucked at you.
I would have supported you if I had been about as I am sure you know. Not that you need anyone leading your corner as you are more than capable of doing that yourself;):mad:0 -
If you dont get your money back I will be:mad:
As will I. Is there not a leaflet floating around from the FOS which identifies the types of cases they can get involved in and I'm sure (although my memory is not what it was) that it covered instances suc has couriered agreements.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
