When installing new modem drivers, it is good practice to unplug your USB modem, uninstall the current drivers, reboot your computer if necessary, then install the new ones. However, for users with Windows Vista computers, the process for doing this, as documented on the SpeedTouch download page is VERY IMPORTANT. Please read and understand the steps contained there before proceeding with the installation of the drivers you download.

ISP sent 'Vista Install Disc'?? Maybe that was the new driver? Possibly installed over the top of the old one, creating a conflict.
It's not Dial Up, but you do need to sign in using a username/password combination via the Speedtouch software interface.0 -

Hi Donnie
using IE , i will try opera, any ideas why this wont connect ?
Cant understand it , the modem was working fine 2wks ago0 -
One thing at at time.
IE set to Working Offline? Possible tweak required within Internet Options.
If no joy with Opera, we'll try a scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. Download, run, update and Quick Scan.0
