When I bought it 10 days ago, it was £74.97. Could be that your store isn't updating the prices on the shelf - I'd say if it's that one you're looking at, it'll scan at £64.97. If it doesn't, you can return it for a refund.

I bought another at £65 and returned it to another store a mile away for a refund of £75 with no problems :snow_grin

  • Hi

I'm hoping for a little help. I thinking of buyer the two little Normskis a DVD Player for the car. I want them to have a screen each rather than just one in the middle.

They are currently of an age where they will both watch the same thing. I was therefore wondering if it is possible to buy two of the Technika DVD Players and use one screen as a 'slave'. When they are older and want to watch two different things they will then be able to do this.

The 'helpful' person at Tescos said 'no' but I didn't get the idea he knew what he was going on about. If it is possible can someone tell me what lead I need and where to get one.

    Many thanks

  • does anyone know what range of discs this will play, divx vcd, svcd etc

Yes you can because they have both AV in and out sockets, so you just need the right wires--Maplins etc. I have done it so I know. That's why you can run a PS2 etc through one. You get the best of both worlds. I tried out several different kinds, and found these to be the best.

Next post---- play DVD, CD, don't know about VCD but think they would, play Jpeg photos but not Divx files---it is just an ordinary DVD player.
  • cheers for that compmad1

  • Hi,

Just wondered if anyone knows a way of making these portable DVD players multi-regional (if, of course, it is at all possible??)

    Fanks!

    Hi,

Try looking up the name of your player on this website (http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks). They have codes for hundreds of players!

I saw a DVD player like this in Netto this week - made by Goodmans. Really sorry but I didn't ask the price. I almost did, because I am obsessed with portable DVD players - OH bought me a wonderful one as a surprise pressie back in October, and I am hopelessly in love with it (and him! :p ) I hadn't seen one of these dual screen ones before and so wondered how much they sold for, especially in Netto! Might be worth a phonecall/visit to yr local Netto on the offchance???
