I use Roboform portable.
The one that runs from a USB memory stick.
The advantage being it can be used with any pc. If you lose your laptop there is nothing stored on it (unless of course you've left your USB drive in it!)
Another tip for pin numbers is to think of a four letter word you can remember easily e.g mary (incidentally this is not my four letter word!)
you then write down the letters of the alphabet A-Z in a table and underneath each letter write a random number, the exception being for the numbers under the letters mary which will (youv'e guessed it) be your pin number.
so if your pin is 1234 then m would be 1, a be 2 ,r be 3, y be 4.
If you forget your pin all you have to do is look up the numbers corresponding to mary.
You create a grid like this for each card you have using mary as the secret word for each pin.
Sounds complicated but easy when you try it out0 -

KeePass for me too, on the PC..... and the encrypted database is backed up onto two USB keys - which also have encryption - one with Truecrypt and one with Kingston Data Traveller protection. The keys both also have the KeePass Portable on them so that I can run the whole shebang from them if required.:D
RoboForm Pro is all very well, but it's not free.:cool:0 -

Everything on a floppy disk for me. (I know, how 1990's !!!) I must admit, I have no idea if the disk itself can be "seen" by others when I pop it in, to remind me of whatever security details I need.0

As I have 3 accounts with one institution (YBS), and one with three other institutions. This uses the same sign on to view all three accounts - dropdown for DOB then random characters from the password.
I keep username and account number in a password protected spreadsheet. But the passwords themselves are remembered, not recorded. For the newest account I have hints to myself within that tab in the spreadsheet. That acount has four security questions one of which is presented at each sign on. Again I don't have the actual words or answers, just hints or acronyms. I'll have to look into some of these other suggestions.0
