Yes you do, but small pieces you can get away with just surrounding them with properly dried wood. Keep the door shut though, wet wood has steam explosions...

Well if I have any chance of convincing OH to get one then I have to make it seem as mess free as possible so I think that model would just pop in the place of the existing gas fire.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
