So if you've been given good advice on another forum, why not follow that advice, why post here (or maybe they didn't tell you what you wanted to hear either)

I'm pretty certain on the facts provided that the issue is a matter of insurable interest, not fronting.

The OP may well have a case against the broker depending on what was discussed at the quotation/inception stage.

Some people on this thread are going a bit over the top IMO.
