BT Broadband & phone interference

I have recently had BT Broadband transferred to my new address. I have attached the ADSL connector to the main point and have put in the broadband connector & the phone line. The only problem is that I have interference on the line. It can only be heard from my end. I have plugged the phone into the main socket withot the ADSL filter and the line is clear.

Has anyone got any ideas for me to try?

Try a new ADSL filter. Mine packed up recently and that was the symptoms.

I have bought a new ADSL filter and I still get the interference. Would it be beneficial to put another telephone filter in the ADSL point?
