I too am really pi**ed off at this E4B debacle.

I am owed £1700..... I know!!! They fobbed me off for months.

I was one of their business customers and earlier this year E4B took out £1700 out of my account stating that I had underpaid for the year. I then provided them with a meter reading which proved that I had overpaid.
They fobbed me off by delaying the refund back to my account and now they are out of business. Does anyone know if I can claim the money owed to me under my banks Direct Debit guarantee scheme??
Any help is much appreciated as I cannot afford to lose this amount of money.
i am owed £800... They fobbed me aswell if u hear any thing plz let me know
    thanks
  • They owe us somewhere around £1000, but they sent us a massive bill which says we owe them £5800, as they have wrong meter readings i tried to tell them this, but they were not interested, now they have a company called "BCW Group plc" trying to extort this money out of us with bully boy tactics? but I’ve sent a letter to then both with the correct meter readings (which we got from there site) and explained that they actually owe us money, so we'll see what happens but if anyone knows who the governing body is we need to take this to if they will not listen to us to mediate I’d be please to know, or even any info which you may think is useful.

    Thanks

Can you invoke the "direct debit guarantee" since they mischarged you?
