Always use Thunderbird for emails and Firefox for web browsing, as they flash up a banner if they detect a spam/phishing email.
However I think that people who click on these links should not get their money back as a lesson - why should my bank subsidise people who cannot be trusted with on line banking and security...When I joined Internet banking the letter told me about phishing and the banking website when I login always comes up with this warning, so there's no excuse for stupidity!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -

Other ways to tell its fake
They used the "You first" phrase, its now "For the Journey"
Every email contains a 2012 logo
Picture is random
They will always tell you to go to www.lloydstsb.com and login yourself and any messages sent by the bank are displayed as you login
The wording awful
There are otherways us scambaiters know of but I won't disclose

what I can't understand is why people who fall for these ridiculous emails almost always get a full refund straight away without fuss from their banks, yet people who get their chip n pin cards cloned at a dodgy atm end up having their refund refused?0
