Alliance leicester £100 offer - when do I get it?

just rang up and they said I'm due to get mine in the next week...not gonna count my chickens til the money arrives though.

i'd paid in £500 a month, but £250 of that has been out of the overdraft that A & L gave me, is that a bit cheeky?

I opened my account back in July, I've phoned twice about it and still nothing! The bloke I spoke to today said it hadn't been processed the last time I phoned and the application will take 7-10 days. What a joke! If I don't get it by the end of the month, I will give them 7 working days from the receipt of the letter to issue to the money but I can't think of a good 'or else what?' Any suggestions?

I opened my account in September so anyone tha opened before that should start chasing it up, I got mine in early January after chasing it up with them, it appears that for some if you don't chase it up you won't get it.

Does anyone know if Alliance and Leicester are still offering this? I don't believe they are but if anyone knows if they are likely to reoffer I will hold back on deciding who to open my new account with. Any advice would be appreciated.

this is still being advertised on the cashback sites..

not only will you get yuor £100 from A&L you will also get £50 cashback from the cashback site..

cashback sites like quidco and topcashback... i normally have been using quidco, and have recently joined topcashback..

I got the same deal through quidco a couple of weeks ago, it's still as good as it sounds! And the acct is fine. Just carry round ur checkbook or the card they give you with your acct details as it isn't obvious from the actual bank card, which can be a little annoying at first...

I think that they were just offering this throughout May.

Having said that they were "just" offering it through March, and brought it back in May, so it might be worth hanging around for a bit if you can.

Do I need to keep the account open or could I close it now? I already have accounts with two other banks.
