I'm looking to buy a Sony as well, and perhaps it's the same you mean. I have seen it at £399 and the specs are impressive. They have one for £599, but I don't think I need to go for all that whiz.

The Sony's record and play DVD's better than almost any other box. Certainly a lot better than the cheaper ones mentioned here. Generally I'm not a Sony fan but they've got it right at the moment. One other interesting point raised. Do you download films? If so, then divx would also be useful.0
