Received a cold call from O2 saying they were calling all customers to offer them a good deal. They asked if I was monthly or PAYG and I replied PAYG , he then wanted to know how much I top up by and I said somewhere arounf £20 per month. He then offered me for £20 a month (monthly rolling contract) 1000 texts+600 minutes and a free bolt on from about 5/6 choices . This all sounded too good to be true , does anyone have any knowledge of this product or advice to offer if they are familliar with the concept?

Many thanks .

Ps he is due to phone tonight to see if I am interested .

Yes this is a normal O2 Simplicity deal available through them - 30 day rolling contract with no phone, 600mins/1000txts and a choice of bolt on which includes another 200mins, unlimited internet, unlimited 02 to 02 calls, unlimited texts.

    HTH.

It wont be o2 because they will know if you're on PAYG or contract.

Here are o2's simonly deals http://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffs/sim_only?cm_mmc=GUK-_-TRFB-_-OST-_-o2%20simplicity

  • don't wait for him to call back.

If you want the deal, do as above and try quidco for extra savings. Always deal direct with thye manufacturer, these 3rd parties, and outbound o2 staff work on comission and often negate the important info!
