    Sorry, you've lost me.

You were commenting on the poor training of check-in staff:

If someone HAD (or Hadn't) put something in your luggage without you knowing about it - the only honest answer would be "I don't know" - which would then probably entail you to having to empty all you luggage onto the check-in hall floor !

I read through this post because its not often you see a good write up about Ryanair. We also had a short break in Palma last week and flew back on Saturday to Stansted. We checked in on line before leaving, the queue to board the plane was orderly, the boarding pass check was swift and efficient and both flights were on time.

i agree, the ryanair moans and groans about hidden costs/misleading advertising/baggage charges often hide the fact that ryanair provide an excellent service, the on time stats ryanair publish i would say are spot on, its a near faultless service time and time again, the ryanair hating hype is so over the top it bears little resemblence to what i see on numerous flights

a bit like the "disgusting way the disabled are treated by ryanair", if those posters actually saw how the disabled get treated on flights they would know different, they get the best attention and flying experience of any passenger.

the truth is out there, millions know it who travel every month with ryanair

It does seem a little odd, though. As I understand your post you were charged 40 euros for the infant ticket and then they later refunded you 40 euros for the child ticket. So why didn't they just change it without any money changing hands?

More to the point, why does it cost the same for an infant (no seat) as a child (who gets a seat)? (I know the answer to this - the 20 euros for an infant is a standard charge - but it's still an anomaly).

NO ynot what I object to is the supercilious arrogance some of the members here are subjected to when they make what they consider to be a genuine complaint. Why don't you know alls set up your own site?

i think your are confusing genuine complaint with genuine mistake , the usual run of the mill post is travellers making mistakes with bookings, getting caught out on weights blah blah blah and the OP gets told its your own fault and that dosent go down too well.

im not one of those who do that, or rant on about doing searches and read t&c.

i certainly wouldnt be as arrogant as you and expect posters to set up their own site becasue you dont like their opinion, or tell posters to ignore ryanair threads like you do, or even tell poster to ignore other posters on non ryanair threads

genuine complaints are rare, genuine c-o-c-k ups dressed up as a genuine complaint are not the same

You miss the point completely Ynot its not the interpretation of their post its the rudeness its received with. That's it, put forward that you should VET all posts before being allowed.

i dont want to vet posts, im quite capable of reading others opinion without getting all upset about it and posting rude comments as you do cullin.

perhaps you should try and get into the spirit of the forum and comment on threads, instead of looking for threads where your wind up/rude comments can be posted.

your last 7 posts on 4 different threads have just been rude/wind ups and attacking posters without commenting on the the thread itself.
