BULLDOGBROADBAND.COM
Bulldog are offering 8meg broadband for only £9.75 per month.!!!
Go active occasional user plan. 1 gig download.
Must rent phone line from bulldog. ( £10.50 ).
If ordered before 31st December 2005 £9.75 guaranteed for as long as you stay with them. 1 month contract.
Hope you find this useful!. I know that Bulldog got bad publicity on Watchdog earlier this year, but have they got their act together now? Is anybody using this service and what are they like now? Also can use override companies like 18866.com etc?

No reliance should be placed on the above.

it depends what you are going to use the internet for ;- 1 gig is not *that* much
Also the 8 meg only works in some areas, and you have to live practically next door to the telephone exchange0 -
1 gig isnt really a lot... As for line distance.. I get 18MB from UKOnline and Im almost 2 miles from the exchange0

I'm with Madasafish and my last five month's usage has all been less than a gig.
If you are just browsing the web and sending emails then 1 gig may be plenty for you. I do listen to radio and watch video occasionally from the BBC website, or download the occasional MP3.
On my tarrif I get 5 gig free, so I feel a bit bad really about being so slovenly in my use...
So for some people a gig will be enough, and the prices for extra are not too bad if you are just going to occasionally slip over.0 -
What's the point of having 8MB broadband if you can only download 1GB a month?0

I saw that same advert too, but when I ring them up I was told that this offer is not available to me because my exchange only able to support up to 2MB. and its going to cost me £14.99 per month! I think this is just a marketing gimmet.0

ROFLMAO............
It does seem completely ridiculous having a fast speed, then giving you a monthly download limit that you could use up in less than 20 minutes at that speed. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
