I'm having a mad spring clean at the mo ... it seems all I've done for the past week is clean but I'm going through the house one room at a time, I can't believe how dirty it is until I have looked and I'm quite particular (well I thought I was). I really enjoy housework though.
OooooH Helen
Would you like to pop over the Pennines and do my housework please, pretty please?
I have always liked to see what I have accomplished for all the hard work so have never been one for dusting every day and "keeping on top of things."
However, now OH is retired too, I envisage more days out so I will have to get a routine to make usere the place always looks tidy.
Failing Helen's help I suppose the "Blessed" Fly lady may get a visit.LOL0 -

JoHere dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning skirting boards? I have just moved into a brand new house with white skirting boards throughout and want to try and keep them nice and white.
Any tips for how best to clean them?0 -
I've just bought some of these:-
http://www.carcare.co.uk/acatalog/microfibre_cloth.html
Scroll down to the 3 microfibre cloths. (Third one down) not the first one, Detailing Cloths
I bought them from B&Q on 3 for 2 offer, they are the very best I've ever used. :T :T :T
These will keep your skirting boards clean with just hot water.0
