3 Month Broadband - advice needed

Options
Hey

I'm moving to Manchester for 3 months (if you know of a room let me know!)

The best place I've found so far doesn't have internet. It's sharing with someone who doesn't need it. She also doesn't have a landline. But does have sky.

So Q1 - Can you get internet added to a Sky package for just 3 months? Or will you be tied into a big contract?

Q2 - I'm on O2, I presume I can get some kind of mobile broadband dongle. Are they any good, or is it like dial up?

Q3 - Are there any other options?

Many thanks

TK x

All Zen, (my preferred ADSL ISP) packages are one month contracts, so you can cancel when you like without fear of paying months of remaining contract. They are also excellent, the best ISP I've ever used, and regular win the top awards.

Mobile BB would be a good idea too, but be careful you aren't locked into a long contract if you only want it for 3 months, check out PAYG versions.

Sky broadband has a minimum of a 12 month contract, however you also need a BT landline to get in on.

You could contact O2 & see if they do mobile broadband for a month to month contract.
You can't be lost if you don't know where you're going.

3 do pay as you go mobile BB £40 for the modem £10 for 1gb £15 for 3 and £25 for 7. But they only last for 30 days.

So 3 mths would cost you £70 at 1 Gb a month.
