Mobile Cheap Broadband And The Blackberry

Dear All, I posted this situation in mobile phones but so far no responses.
I am a mobile worker with 2 work sites. Site 2 has good 2G mobile phone reception but no phone. Orange recently gave me a Blackberry Curve which has internet access but it is very fiddly, and I would like to work in house 2 and elsewhere on my travels using my laptop and the Blackberry, I hasten to add not as a tethered mobile but controlling the Blackberry so the Blackberry screen appears on my laptop and and I can run it from my laptop thus avoiding the need for yet another contract for phone and broadband.
I have done an intensive search and all I can come with is a Liberty dongle produced in Canada which 'virtualises' the Blackberry on a laptop, no UK shipping arrangements and the company does not respond to emails.
I do think there must be a simple way of doing this, sorry for this technical post but I thought someone may know a work around and it was worth trying as Blackberries are being handed out a lot by Orange and it is a way of saving money.
