Massive thanks to you Heinz :T
Just ordered my phone line and my broadband through the Customer Options team and got the £29.99 connection fee!!
She said I'd need to pay a connection fee so I asked about the £29.99 fee and she didn't quibble at all, although no free evening calls for me - only weekend but not bothered seeing as I get £255 worth of free calls, texts and picture messages through T-Mobile so will use mobile in the evenings.
Now let's pray that they sort it out okay...although this is BT we're talking about here
So word to the wise...if you get through to sales and they try to charge £124.99, demand to be put through to the Customer Options team!

You can get free evening landline calls its a 12 month contract, which shouldnt be a problem because you have agreed to an 18 month contract for line rental. You would have also agreed to place 10 inclusive/chargeable calls a month via BT on the £29.99 offer so the free evening calls would help you achieve it at a lower cost.;)
If you want to save as much cash as possible why choose BT Broadband ?0 -
Reason I've gone with BT Broadband is because they're the ones I found most reliable. Had a complete nightmare with AOL and Orange - even had to take Orange to OFCOM so sticking with what I know best even though they are expensive!
Didn't know about the free evening landline calls...I got told that i could only have one special offer with the £29.99 connection fee hence only the free weekend calls - if I wanted evening calls I'd have to pay additional £2.70 a month so decided against it as BT are going to get enough money out of me as it is!:eek:0
