Ok I think this is mad, I live in a mid 2 bed terrice, we are both at work from 6.30 till 4.00 monday to friday, we have a combi boiler for hot water and heating and a gas cooker. We have pre-payment meters fro both gas and electric as its rented, we are with Scottish power for both. RIGHT the thing is we are spending £80 per month on Elec and £60 on gas, and thats before we put the heating on for winter. Does anyone else think this is very high ???? I have asked scottish power to see if all is correct and they say it is. What the hell can I do ??? I cant afford to put the heating on at this rate!!!!

Everything is unplugged when we are out at the mains, so theres nothing on standby, ony things that are on are fridge and freezer.turn stuff off?
£80 for electricity in summer/autumn months is a lot, even with an expensive prepayment meter.
Gas will probably be 5 times summer usage over the winter.0 -
Yes, you need to say how many gas and electricity kwh you use daily or weekly. Also, how much do you pay per kwh for each?0
