Its on HMRC's list for [strike]zero rating[/strike] reduced rate (5%) - I didnt read it properly, sorry.

Apples are non vatable but quite often exotic fruit is vatable.
Plain biscuits arent but jaffa cakes are. It is quite interesting what they decide as necessaties.0 -
One of the bonuses of eating more OS and baking my own goodies is indeed that there are very few vat'able items on my receipts!Piglet
